There are three types of flame effect Dimplex currently produce, they include iconic Opti-Myst electric fires which offer realistic 3D flame and smoke effects. The popular Dimplex Optiflame fires generate a realistic simulated flame effect which creates an illusion of flames emerging from the centre of enhanced fuel bed. Finally Dimplex Opti-V fires utilise high definition TV technology to create flames and sparks for a virtual fireplace in addition there is an audio element of crackling logs to complete the illusion.
